Not advice
The Ponente Report publishes journalism about trading platforms and the complaints readers make about them. Nothing on this site is a personal recommendation, an inducement, or advice to buy, sell or hold any financial instrument, to open or close an account, or to trade at all.
We do not know your income, your obligations, your tax position, your experience or how much you could lose without harm. Advice is impossible without those, and we do not attempt it. For decisions about your own money, consult a professional who is qualified and regulated in your country.
What our reports are
A report is a record of a search carried out on a stated date. It describes what readers told us, what the operator answered if anything, and which public records we looked in without result. It is accurate as a description of that search and is not a certificate of anything.
What our reports are not
A report is not a finding of wrongdoing. Where we write that a platform could not be matched to a company or a licence, we are describing the outcome of a search, not alleging an offence.
A report is not a clean bill of health either. An empty complaint file means nobody has written to us, which is a fact about our postbag and not about the platform.
A report is not permanent. Ownership changes, brands are retired, registers are updated, and a page checked in one month can be out of date in the next. The check date is printed on every report for that reason.
Risk warning
Trading contracts for difference, foreign exchange, leveraged products and crypto assets carries a high risk of loss. Leverage magnifies losses as well as gains, and with some products a loss can exceed the amount deposited. Past performance, whether shown in advertising or in a demonstration account, tells you nothing reliable about future results. Money placed with an unauthorised provider may be impossible to recover through any complaints scheme.

Where the site links to a register, a regulator or another external resource, we do not control that content and are not responsible for it. Commercial routes on this site are marked by a button, and any service reached through one is operated by someone else under their own terms.
Limits of liability
The site is published in good faith and with care, but it is offered as it stands, without warranty that any page is complete, current or free of error. To the extent permitted by law, the publisher accepts no liability for loss arising from reliance on anything published here.
